Tumblr is a blogging service that allows users to publish a tumblelog, a style of blog made of up of brief posts made of mixed media and favored by artists as an easy way to share their work. Tumblr allows you to choose from six different types of posts, including a traditional blog post, a photo entry, a quote, a website link, a conversation-style transcript, and a video post. Tumblr also lets you change colors and themes and add your own domain name. There is a function on the Tumblr website that keeps track of specific keywords and plots the popularity of trends based on the results.
