Sourceforge is an online source code repository that allows developers to collaborate on open-source software projects with relative ease. Developers can sign up for SourceForge for free, and upon creating a project can access online code repositories, developer discussion forums, a bug tracker, and an email list. The average user can then download project files through a simple web interface with a selection of several mirrors. SourceForge does not host any proprietary projects, only open-source projects.
