Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

Qik is a video website that hosts live streams received from its users' cell phones. You can visit the website to watch live video streams. After a stream is complete the finished video is saved on the site for later viewing, too. The service is currently free and supports over 100 handsets, but note that the software for the phones is undergoing testing and may not work perfectly just yet.

Videos streamed through Qik can be hosted on other websites, including Twitter and Orkut. The site is used all around the world, with users and streams in more than 70 countries. It was used by U.S. congressman John Culberson to air speeches in congress when opponents tried to keep them from public consumption by cutting more traditional forms of video broadcasting.

The service hasn't yet achieved mainstream popularity, but it's still new. You might see more of it in the future.
