The iPad has landed.

Meebo is a browser-based instant messaging service launched in 2005 that has support for a wide variety of IM networks. Users can either sign into IM networks individually or create a free account that saves their IM info and auto-connects to all relevant networks upon log-in. IM networks supported include Yahoo! Instant Messenger, MSN, AIM, ICQ, Google, Facebook Chat, and MySpaceIM. Meebo also supports chat rooms where registered users can congregate and chat in groups. As it is browser-based rather than a standalone desktop application, Meebo does not require any software installation on the viewing computer, making it a popular chat utility in public computer labs or offices where software installation is locked down by the IT staff.
