Make: television is a series of TV episodes dedicated to the spirit of quirky, homebrewed gadgetry. Make Magazine, a quarterly dedicated to DIY tech hobbyists, partnered with Twin Cities Public Television, and American Public Television to produce the series, each episode of which airs simultaneously on the web and public TV. The series is DRM and commercial free, presented in HD, and available on YouTube, iTunes, blip.tv, and Vimeo. The first episode aired January 3rd, 2009, and featured a bikeshop in San Fransicso that recycles old or busted bikes into pedal-powered contraptions which straddle the fence between art and toy.

Make: television's presence on the web is makezine.tv, where hobbyists nationwide can submit video entries to be included in the TV series, as well as contribute to the forums and photo groups.
