Pandora One is a subscription version of traditional Pandora. Pandora is an internet music service created by the Music Genome Project and designed to incorporate a music recommendation feature that works with 400 music attributes to play songs or artists similar to those that the user chooses. The system incorporates feedback as users approve or disapprove of selections to build a growing portfolio of music types to play from.

For $36 a year you can listen to higher quality 192Kbps streaming audio without ads for up to five hours with Pandora One without ever having to touch the player. The clock resets each time you rate a track or interact with the player, allowing you to listen for another five hours uninterrupted. In addition to ad-free music Pandora One subscribers can also download the Pandora desktop application that allows them to listen to music without having to open a new browser window, can use a new "mini player" that takes up an ultra small amount of desktop real estate, and they can customize their player with skins to match their personality.
