Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The LaCie Big Disk Network storage array is for gearheads only, of course. If you're a hardcore tech enthusiast, it's got you covered. It stores up to four terabytes of data on dual RAID 0 drives. The RAID configuration means that if you configure it a certain way, when one drive fails, information can be recovered from the other because it's doubled up between the two of them.

The Big Disk is trying to appeal to two kinds of customers at once. On one hand, you've got your dry network administrator types at the office. For them, it can support up to 50 users total and 15 connected simultaneously, Genie Backup Manager software for both PC and Mac users, and various security access profiles.

It also makes a grab for your wallet if you're just a hardcore home user, with a built-in BitTorrent client and DLNA and UPnP media streaming, meaning you can access the media files stored in the drives from a media box in your living room like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
