Dell EqualLogic PS6000 Storage Arrays are professional storage devices for corporate data management, business tech administration needs, and government or school electronic information requirements. The PS6000 series is designed for speed and efficiency, and according to Dell they can perform up to 91 percent faster for sequential write workloads and 29 percent faster for read workloads than Dell's previous array models, the PS5000 series. You can also choose to add a SSD array with dedicated controls, for up to 500 TB of total storage capacity in a single PS6000 group. You also get a number of software upgrades, including Microsoft Hyper-V Smart Copysnapshots for further integrating information with Microsoft data management programs and SAN Headquarters, a dashboard application that monitors performance and events for the storage array.

The PS6000 arrays range in cost but start at $17,000 for the standard version and $25,000 for the SSD included version.
