The Vonage Mobile app for the iPod touch, iPhone, and BlackBerry smartphones lets you make international VoIP calls on your cell phone over either Wi-Fi or your cellular phone network. The iPhone verison supports both, BlackBerry supports only cellular, and the iPod touch supports only Wi-Fi.

When making a call on the cellular network, the Vonage app forwards your call through a local access number, so you'll use up both minutes and the pay-as-you-go Vonage service. Wi-Fi calls are just made through the internet.

The app is free and available now.
