Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Qik for iPhone finally brings the Qik live mobile video streaming service to Apple's handset — kind of. It naturally requires the iPhone 3GS model, seeing as how that's the only one with a video camera. But there is one significant downside.

It cannot stream live video; instead, you'll record videos and upload them after the fact. The good news is that since an August 21st update, you can now upload over 3G in addition to Wi-Fi.

The streaming limitation is likely imposed by Apple, AT&T, or the iPhone hardware, though, so this is the best you can expect from Qik. And the app is free in the App Store, so it's hard to complain.
