Pogoplug is a storage adapter that connects any external hard drive to your home network and makes the files contained on that drive available anywhere via a web interface. This iPhone app allows you to pass on using a computer to access the web interface and instead use your iPhone to access the files shared by your Pogoplug via the phone's 3G, EDGE, or Wi-Fi network connections.
In addition to browsing and managing the files on your hard drive, you can use the app to stream music or movies from your drive to your phone wherever you are, as well as back up photos you've taken on your phone. Pogoplug for iPhone is available now, and the app is free. The Pogoplug device will set you back $99, though.
