The iPad has landed.

Microsoft Office 2010, previously known by the code name Office 14, is the 2010 version of the Office suite of document and communication applications made for Microsoft's Windows operating system.

The 2010 suite is expected to include an updated Exchange 2010 business e-mail system that allows you to send personal emails to save on company server space, and new interoperability functions throughout the suite that allow for easier access and integration of third party applications. While there is no word of a price of specific release date, Microsoft has said it will release Office 2010 to manufactures in the first half of 2010.

The beta version of Office 2010 became available for download by MSDN and TechNet Plus customers on November 16th, 2009, and it became publicly available on November 18th. On December 2nd, Microsoft began presales of the release version of Office 2010 through its Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 No Better Time Promotion. Microsoft partners can purchase Office Professional Plus 2007 at a 20% discount, and they'll get a free upgrade to 2010 when it launches.
