Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Keynote '09 is the latest revision to Apple's presentation software, part of the iWork lineup. Keynote allows for the creation of PowerPoint-like presentations, mixing text, charts, and animations to put together a slide show. The software features a built-in graphics editor for preparing images and offers 44 pre-designed themes to give a presentation a particular look. New in 2009, Keynote adds improved animation support called Magic Move, letting objects be moved around and creating seamless transitions, 3D chart views, and support for Keynote Remote. The Remote software runs on an iPod touch or iPhone and lets the presenter control the slideshow from the handheld device, previewing upcoming slides and displaying notes and speaking points. A single-user license of iWork '09, including Keynote '09, costs $79.
