iLife '09 is a an image software suite developed by Apple for the Mac OS system which allows users to manage photos, create movies, add music to slideshows, and other image options, including programs such as iPhoto, GarageBand, iWeb, iMovie, iDVD, and others. iLife '09 uses face detection to recognize and search for faces, while the user can create slideshows and share them with others via their iPhone. The software also uses geotagging to add information on the image's location based on data collected by the camera or Apple's iPhone, with an option for photographers to add in their own geotags. The programs come with built-in support for Facebook and Flickr for sharing images, showing image locations, and identifying photo subjects. Uers can also choose to see, browse through and print out maps that show where they have taken photos or movie clips with compatible cameras or the iPhone. Prices start at $80 for the upgrade, or $100 for the family pack.
