Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Flickr is one of the world's most popular photo uploading and sharing websites, but previously you had to either visit the mobile Flickr website, download an unofficial application, or e-mail photos to a special address to use Flickr on your iPhone.

Now Flickr has released an official iPhone app, and while it's more speedy and elegant thanks to the fact that it runs on the phone natively instead of via a web browser, it doesn't really let you do anything you couldn't do already.

You can upload photos from your iPhone's library, put them in whatever Flickr gallery you want, and tag them. You can also see friends' photos on the main screen. But you can't upload photos in bulk, and a few minor features are missing too.

But it's hard to complain too much because Flickr for iPhone is free.
