Apple unveils iPhone 4 and iOS 4, coming June 24 and June 21, respectively

NeatReceipts is a system for keeping track of information on bits of paper, the kind of things we're likely to lose if we don't make an effort to keep them organized.  It can help you keep track of your expenses and purchases, organizing your receipts by scanning them in to a computer and performing optical recognition to produce easy-to-sort data entries for each. Corporate users might want to use the software to compile a library of all contact info they receive on business cards.

The latest Mac version of the software upgrades it to keep its feature set in-line with the PC release, supporting a patented OCR algorithm and letting you create PDF files from scanned documents.

The software is available bundled with the Neat Mobile Scanner, a scanner compact enough to carry around with your laptop. The manually-fed device handles single sheets of paper at a time, scanning them at 600 dpi. If you'd rather use the software with your existing scanner, Neat provides a list of compatible models on its website.
