The Sanyo PLC-XTC50L, released in January 2009, is a portable projector featuring a 1024 x 768 resolution, a brightness rating of 5000 lumens, and a dual lamp selection function that gives the device approximately 6000 hours of projection life. The PLC-XTC50L can display images and video with a 30 to 300-inch projection size and a 1100:1 contrast ratio, backed up by an active maintenance filter intended to detect blocks in the air filter and automatically switch filters to compensate. The projector is equipped with a DVI-D (HDCP) port, a D-Sub connection, and BNC 5-pin, composite, and S-Video inputs. Prices start at $7495.
