Announced at CES 2009, Samsung's MBP200 Pico Projector is a mobile projector and media player created to connect to both phones and laptops, showing screen images on a larger, 50-inch projection and supporting JPEG, GIF, Animated GIF, and MBP image formats in addition to DivX, Xvid, WMV9 Simple Profile, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 video formats. Users can also project external information from microSD memory cards. The MB200 has 2.2-inch LCD screen for previewing content and a touchpad for controlling image projection and connection. The device comes with a 3.5-millimeter standard jack for headphones, but also has a built-in external speaker for playing audio directly. Samsung has included a mini screen holder to hold paper for the projection. Prices have not yet been released.
