The Korg Kaossilator is a compact synthesizer that allows users to create and stack musical phrases to create melodies and beats via a touchpad that can produce 100 programs for synthetic bass or lead parts, 10 different drum patterns, over 30 musical patterns, and many different instrument sounds. It has a sampling frequency of 48kHZ and comes with 24-bit linear DA conversion capabilities. Users can choose to connect speakers through the stereo/RCA dual jack or keep the sound to themselves with the mini headphone port. The Kaossilator runs on 4 AA batteries or a 4.5v adapter for up to five hours of continuous use. Retail prices begin at $250.
