The Slacker G2 personal radio player provides 100 free Slacker-programmed or user-created stations that are accessible from WiFi hotspots or uploaded from a PC. Weighing 2.6 oz, the device packs 2.5-inch screen and a 4GB capacity for storing up to 25 stations and 2,500 songs in AAC, MP3, and WAV formats. The 8-GB version expands the music library capacity to 40 stations and 4,000 songs. Similar to Pandora, Slacker's free music service is ad-supported and allows six skips per hour, while its premium service costs $10 a month with unlimited skips and the ability to save songs to the device.
