SanDisk's Sansa View is a portable media player with a 320 x 240 2.4-inch widescreen display. The View, available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities, is further expandable with microSD flash cards. The player supports MP3s and WMA (with DRM), delivering over 30 hours play time per charge, according to tests. Reviews criticize poor bass output, and attempts to compensate using the View's software EQ didn't alleviate the problem.
Video options include playback of MPEG4, WMV, and H.264 formats, including DRM content from Amazon and TiVo. Video playback time is tested at around 5 hours. Reviewers found video playback a bit dim, and noticed some heavy compression artifacts, but were largely pleased with performance.
