The Sansa Fuze fills a niche nicely in the Sansa line of portable media players between the Clip (a small, audio only, clip-on player) and the View (a large, higher resolution, multimedia player). The Fuze strikes an economic balance with a smaller, lower resolution 1.9’’ screen, but makes up for it with what SanDisk claims is over 24 hours of (audio only) battery life.
The Fuze measures 3.1 x 1.9 x. 0.3 inches, and is available in 3 memory configurations: 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB. It’s available in black (2GB’s only option), blue, pink, red, and silver (8GB only). The 2GB player is $79.99 and each successive memory level increases by $20 from there. It’s compatible with microSDHC cards, and also has a built-in FM tuner.
