The Samsung YP-U5 is a portable media player designed for ease of use and physical activity, featuring a touchpad, a 1-inch OLED display, and support for MP3, WMA, and OGG music formats. You can listen to music up to 20 hours on a single battery charge, or change over to an FM radio station and record clips with the built-in FM recorder. The player also comes with a custom EQ so you can customize the sound effects and audio enhance technology intended to help make songs clearer.
For connection capabilities, the YP-U5 is built around a USB stick for plugging it in and out of the computer. Prices start at $39 for the 2 GB model, and you can expect the PMP in the United States in April 2009.
