The Philips GoGear Spark MP3 player is another foray by the manufacturer into the small player marketplace occupied by the likes of the iPod Shuffle and the Sansa Clip from SanDisk, among others. The Spark sports a 1.46-inch OLED 128 × 128 display and squeezable edges that provide you with four directions of control and allow you to scroll through lists of music, FM radio frequencies, or any of the eight main menu icons. Other features include a music player that supports MP3 and WMA formats, a JPEG photo viewer, and an FM radio player with 20 station presets. Unlike the Shuffle, the Clip, and similar players, the Spark does not have a built-in attachable clip--it comes with a neck strap. The Spark is priced at $49.99 for the 2GB version and $59.99 for the 4GB model.
