3D TV coming to Best Buy this week

The iRex iLiad 2nd edition e-book reader is more expensive than most of its competition, but for the extra dollars you'll get an above-average, daylight-viewable screen (768 x 1024 pixels at eight inches) and more importantly, the ability to visibly mark documents with underlines, strikethroughs, and more using the included stylus pen.

Other features include Wi-Fi for reading RSS feeds and downloading new books, USB connectivity, and online features that allow you to share your favorite documents with friends and family. iRex claims the iLiad uses very little electricity when it's not changing the image (flipping pages, creating marks, etc.), but the battery life is subpar, topping out at around 10 hours.

On the bright side, the iLiad uses the open source Linux operating system, so tech-savvy individuals should be able to find special functionality for it besides reading, and unique applications are available from third parties. Books for the device are available through the Mobipocket service.
