A cross between the Zen V Plus and the Zen WAV, the Creative ZEN Mozaic is a portable media player with a stylish design including a mosaic keyboard and a built-in speaker. Available in black, silver, or pink, the Mozaic features a 1.8-inch TFT display for photos or video (either can be viewed during music play), an integrated FM radio allowing users to pick from 32 station presets, and voice memo recording. Supporting formats such as MP3, WMA, and Audible 4, the player has eight EQ presets and gives the user the option to customize his or her own equalizer settings. The integrated rechargeable battery will allow playback for up to 32 hours with most earbud headphones, but the battery is depleted at a faster rate when the on-board speaker is used. Advertised as an alarm clock, calendar, and contact list, the unit can also be used as an external storage device.
