The iAUDIO 7 is a mid-2007 entry into Cowon's extensive line of portable media players. Cowon's devices are known for having a wide range of features and extremely high sound quality, and the iAUDIO 7 lives up to this reputation: it packs 4, 8 or 16GB of flash based storage, support for a wide variety of audio formats including MP3, WMA, FLAC and OGG, Cowon's JetEffect sound enhancer and a 60 hour battery life on its internal rechargeable battery. Above and beyond the traditional iPod, the iAUDIO 7 includes a built in mic for voice recording, a direct line in jack for high quality audio recording, the ability to display text files, a FM tuner and a standard USB mini-jack for connecting to a PC or Mac, all in a package weighing only 1.8 ounces.
