Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Scheduled to be formally announced October 20th, the Barnes & Noble e-reader will have both a black-and-white e-paper display and an iPhone-like color multi-touch panel. It will also have a fold-out lamp at its top.

Barnes & Noble will offer e-books at prices lower than their hard copy cousins through an online store, and the device will have access to Google's scanned book library.

Pricing and availability are still a mystery, but take a gander at our gallery — some photos and renders of the device have leaked out early.
