Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

The 705 WiFi is a physically much larger PMP than its fifth generation sibling the 605 WiFi measuring up at 7.2 x 0.8 x 5 inches. Although unlike the 605 WiFi the face of the 705 WiFi completely lacks any buttons (all controls are handled purely by the touchscreen interface), in other respects the featuresets of the two devices are almost identical. The built-in wireless allows downloading of movies, TV and music over the air, the optional DVR docking station allows scheduled TV recording, and a host of on-board media players handles most standard media formats you'd want to throw at it.

Notable differences between the 705 and 605 other than size include the 705 WiFi's built-in composite TV output, a QWERTY keypad remote control, USB host support (for transferring media directly from digital cameras and external hard drives), built-in stereo speakers and a replaceable battery. The Archos 705 WiFi comes in both 80 GB and 160 GB versions for $399 and $499 respectively.
