Archos' 3 Vision, a would-be competitor to the iPod touch, has a 3-inch touchscreen display. The display covers most of the surface of the device, as with the iPod touch. Using that touchscreen you can access an on-screen feature wheel.
The 3 Vision has eight gigabytes of flash memory for storing up to 4,000 songs, but it can store and play videos and photos too. It also has a microSDHC card slot for expansion. Other features include a voice recorder, an FM transmitter, a calendar, a stopwatch, and up to 14 hours of battery life when playing audio files.
It's expected to become available in the UK this August for £90 (about $148).
