Apple's iPod touch, originally launched on September 5, 2007, is a flash memory-based portable media player capable of playing music, photos, and video.
The newest model includes built in speakers and integrated Nike+iPod technology for runners. The iPod touch is also a WiFi-enabled computing platform with various PDA-like programs included, such as the Safari web browser, a basic e-mail client, an address book, a calendar, a calculator, a clock, a weather application, iTunes, and a Google Maps-powered map application.
Additional programs — including over 20,000 video games — can be purchased directly from the iPod touch using the included App Store application or synced to the device after purchace via the App Store in the desktop version of iTunes. Additionally, the iPod Touch supports Apple's Genius playlist feature, which suggests playlists based on similarities between the different songs on the iPod.
On September 9th, 2009, Apple announced that the iPod touch would receive an OpenGL graphics upgrade for improved 3D gaming performance. It also dropped prices and increased storage. The iPod touch is now available in 8 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB models, priced at $199, $299, and $399 respectively.

i love this ipod.actually most of the students here at narconon arrowhead in oklahoma has ipod but this ipod touch is the best.
