Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Launched on September 9th, 2009, the 5th generation Apple iPod nano adds a plethora of new features to the old nano, the most notable of which is the inclusion of a video camera ala the iPhone 3GS.

The 5th gen also has a 2.2-inch display — larger than that of the 4th gen — and is made from polished anodized aluminum. Other new features include a pedometer that can sync with Nike, an FM radio tuner, VoiceOver support, and Genius mixes.

If you're not familiar with the nano line, it's pretty straightforward; it's an iPod that lacks the vast storage of the iPod classic and the touch technology and internet connectivity of the iPod touch, but which makes up for it by employing discrete flash memory to reduce its size. It can play music, videos, and podcasts.

The 5th generation iPod nano retails at $149 for an 8 GB model and $179 for a 16 GB model.
