Apple's Mighty Mouse is a wireless optical mouse that makes use of a touch sensitive surface in place of left and right buttons. You can also squeeze the sides of the mouse to activate operating system features. The mouse communicates with the computer via Bluetooth.
The Mighty Mouse also features a scroll ball instead of the standard scroll wheel; it can scroll in any direction rather than just up and down.
On October 2, 2009, AppleInsider posted a rumor that Apple plans to overhaul the Mighty Mouse with new features. Sources say that the manufacturer will replace the roller ball with a touch-sensitive surface that performs the same function.
