Yesterday UK security company Prevx announced that its customers were complaining about a "black screen of death" error on Windows computers. The company provided a fix of its own, but now Microsoft has commented on the issue.

In an e-mail to TechFlash, a company rep said: "Microsoft is investigating reports that its latest release of security updates is resulting in system issues for some customers. Once we complete our investigation, we will provide detailed guidance on how to prevent or address these issues."

So there you go. They're working on it, okay?
