Google just announced two significant improvements to its Voice service. First, you can now choose to use your own phone number. Not all of the features will work if you do this instead of using a new Google number; for example, call recording and conference calling, but options are always appreciated.

The other new feature lets you move your cell phone voicemail service over to Google's servers, so you can take advantage of the Google Voice features instead of the more limited options offered by your carrier.
