The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Apple has been sending inquiries to Australian media companies asking if they'd consider distributing their content on the device, adding to the mountain of evidence for the worst-kept secret in the consumer electronics industry.

Google Android 2.0 will add built-in Exchange and Facebook support along with many other improvements to Android phones. Developers now have a chance to implement the cool new stuff in their apps; the Google Android SDK has been updated with support for 2.0 features.

Google Wave will get its own app store, according to a Next Web writer who attended a Google meeting. Like the Apple App Store and the Android Market, the Google Wave app store will let developers create applications for the service and sell them for profit.
