Apple has added support for a new, internally developed video format called iFrame to the 8.0.5 update of its iMovie video editing software. The just-announced Sanyo VPC-HD2000A and the Sanyo VPC-FH1A are the first two camcorders to support the format.
Google has added a Labs feature to Gmail that detects patterns in which people you tend to e-mail together, and warns you when it thinks you might have entered the wrong name in a group e-mail just to be safe.
Best Buy claimed at a Nokia event today that it sells 30% of computers in the United States. It was talking about retail sales, so that doesn't include businesses or educational institutions which tend to order directly from the manufacturer, but it's still an impressive feat.
