Facebook is using Facebook Connect to help websites translate their content with reader feedback into any one of 65 supported languages. Google also announced a similar service that operates via a gadget operated by a webmaster. The Google gadget supports 51 languages.

Research in Motion has launched a TiVo app for BlackBerry smartphones. Don't get too excited, though; you can't watch the shows you've recorded. You can just use the app to remotely manage your scheduled recordings without going home to your TiVo box.

A Gizmodo reader took his iPhone into an Apple Store Genius Bar in New York to complain of repeated dropped calls. The expert at the Genius Bar determined that the phone dropped 22% of calls, and said that's actually an excellent rate; 30% is expected on iPhones operating on AT&T in New York City. Ouch.
