  • Ringtones will be sold on the iTunes Music Store for $1.29 each.
  • The 5th generation iPod nano launched. It has a 2.2-inch display, a video camera, a microphone, VoiceOver, an FM tuner, a pedometer, and Genius support. The 8 GB model costs $149 and the 16 GB costs $179.
  • The iPod shuffle 2 GB is now available for $49, and a 4 GB Special Edition made from stainless steel is going for $99.
  • The iPod classic has been upgraded to 160 GB from 120. Its price remains the same at $249.
  • The 8 GB iPod touch is now just $199. It's topped by a 32 GB model for $299 and a new 64 GB for $399. All three models now have improved OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics processing capabilities for 3D games. EA announced Madden NFL 2010, Ubisoft announced Assassins Creed 2, Gameloft announced a Halo-esque first-person-shooter titled Nova, and Tapulous announced a racing/music game called Riddim Ribbon.
