Sony revealed at IFA 2009 that sometime next year it will update all existing PlayStation 3's with free, new software that will support stereoscopic 3D TV technology, regardless of the brand of the TV. The benefit: you'll be able to play all existing and upcoming PS3 games in 3D without buying additional Sony hardware. You'll just need a TV that has the technology; admittedly that won't be cheap.

Engadget got some hands-on time with the tech. Check out their video below.

Well this is truly good news to all PS3 players that are planning to have 3D TV technology. Since the benefit of this is you'll be able to play all existing and upcoming PS3 games in 3D without buying additional Sony hardware. You'll just need a TV that has the technology, but as what we imagine this will surely cost us some cash advance [see: http://personalmoneystore.com/Cash-Advance ] since it is not cheaper. New technology means new appraisal and additional expenses for enhancing its quality to give us such entertainment.
