Developers of the iPhone and iPod touch dictionary app Ninjawords say their app was rejected multiple times because the dictionaries included obscenities that are present in all dictionaries, including the one included in Apple's Mac OS X operating system. The app did finally get through to the App Store, but it was slapped with a 17+ rating. This isn't the first example of Apple's extreme App Store content enforcement, but several prominent bloggers are really railing on the company for this one.
