Market research group NPD concluded in a study that more than nine out of 10 computers sold at prices over $1,000 are Macs. 91% domination of the high-end computer market is just about a monopoly, but in the grander scheme Macs are still in the minority because most people spend much less than $1,000 when buying a computer, hence that whole netbook craze.
