A couple weeks ago, the CEO of video game publisher Activision made a thinly veiled threat to drop support for Sony's PlayStation consoles if they don't get a price drop. Sony's CEO Howard Stringer just responded, saying that Kotick "likes to make a lot of noise" and that if he cut prices for the PlayStation 3 console, Sony would lose money on every unit sold. So that's a mark against all those price cut rumors going around.
