It now costs nearly twice as much to buy an ad in The Simpsons' Hulu stream as it does to buy one during its primetime TV broadcast, according to Bloomberg. CBS' CSI, which streams at TV.com, is charging ad rates at a similar disparity. This is because web viewers (who have deliberately chosen the program they're watching) are a more captive audience than TV viewers, who tend to flip channels or engage in other activities while the TV is on.

Is that twice as much per view or twice as much period. I didnt realize hulu was already outpacing normal TV. I thought that was a year or two away still.
