You know, it's just not that often that one hears exciting news about personal navigation devices but today, friends, is that day. If you're tired of toggling back and forth between the snore-inducing tones of the Male Voice and the stressful authoritarian bark of That German Lady, there's now another option for you: everybody's favorite nuclear plant worker Homer Simpson! Head over to TomTom to check out the audio samples, including our favorite: "Woo-hoo! You have reached your destination! And you can hold your head up high, because you are a genius!" That's what we're talking about. We want recognition every time we arrive anywhere.

Unfortunately it looks like the Homer voice is only available for POI and destinations in the UK and Ireland; if anyone in the States can confirm accessing the voice pack via your TomTom HOME account, please do let us know.
