Skip ahead to 2:00 into the above video to see Ultrasn0w in action. The iPhone Dev Team notes that this unlock works with iPhone 3G running iPhone OS 3.0 and "This may in fact be directly applicable to the iPhone 3GS if it can be jailbroken, because it runs the same baseband version. Whether or not it can be jailbroken is a big question right now!" They also project that the new unlocking tool will be released on Friday, so stay tuned.
