The upcoming online music video hub from YouTube and Universal Music — think Hulu for music videos, or just YouTube for major label music vids without the constant takedown notices — just took on another major partner with Sony Music Entertainment signing on to take part in the Vevo project and share its extensive catalogue on the site. Sony Music seems to be on a deal-making spree, with its decision to provide content for subscription site eMusic landing earlier this week to controversy.
