eMusic catalogue grows to include Sony Music songs older than two years

Music subscription service eMusic inked a deal with Sony Music to deliver its vast back catalogue to the service, in exchange for some changes to subscriber plans. The caveat: only songs older than 2 years will be added for download under eMusic's plans.
[Update:] There's a subscriber backlash over the changes to the subscription plans, which to some (particularly grandfathered long-time users) can mean as much as an effective doubling of their plan price. Check out the latest commentary via the "emusic fail" Twitter search.
