Apple didn't make any announcements, but folks who've bought unibody, aluminum, 13-inch MacBooks since sometime in April have noticed that the LCD displays are much better than those that were included beforehand, with deeper blacks and better viewing angles. The screen part number now matches that of the MacBook Air.
