Tech enthusiasts have declared that Hulu is the harbinger of doom for the TV industry, and some TV execs agree, but the web interface has never exactly been conducive to a good couch and TV experience. Hulu just addressed that issue by releasing an application for Windows and Mac computers called Hulu Desktop.

It's basically similar to Apple Front Row, Microsoft Windows Media Center, or Boxee, but with all of Hulu's content ready to view with just a couple clicks of the remote. Things are looking ever more grave for broadcast TV — at least with regards to especially tech-savvy consumers.

This is all fine and good but I just can't sit at my computer for hours watching streaming content.

If they can make an app that works with my IP enabled BlueRay player; I'm there.
